Exhibitions.
that I curated.
Imbued.
The Imbued exhibition displayed the works of local female artists whose art is infusing, ingraining & inoculating. Each piece or collection of pieces seep from the bedrooms, studios and fields, where they were created and trickle into presence, inspiring a distinctive feeling and quality. The artists' mediums are of a wide assortment. There is a vast melange of colours, textures and styles across the exhibition. Where each work permeates, it alters. Together they Imbue.
She & Fate.
She & Fate, asked artists to be inspired by the evocative verses of a poem, the exhibition sought to capture a fusion of visual and literary artistry.
Chrysalis.
Chrysalis, was an exhibition featuring exclusively female artists. The title itself, Chrysalis, suggests a metamorphic journey, and indeed, the pieces showcased reflected the artists' evolution and emergence into their unique forms of expression. From vibrant paintings that captured the essence of empowerment to sculptures that embodied strength and vulnerability, the exhibition celebrated a range of diverse artistic voices.
An Audience.
An Audience explored the idea that art, and more specifically film remains incomplete without its viewers.
